About

Hi, I’m Amy, and I’m here on a mission.

My mission? To help you

LIVE FREE.

Free from pain. Free from stress. Free from doubt and fear.

Free, strong, and confident in your body.

All my life, I have been called to practice massage. At a dance camp in middle school, a therapist was brought in to teach us basic techniques, and immediately I was hooked. I practiced on my parents, my friends, and began working in a variety of health care settings in high school and college. I graduated from Healthworks Institute 1000 hour program in Bozeman, and pursue a yearly continuing education agenda that exceeds state requirements.

My therapeutic work blends Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Orthopedic Assessment, Sports Massage, Thai, Muscle Energy Technique (MET) and Swedish techniques. I believe in listening to you and your body and customizing treatment to bring you the most effective relief.

Over the years, I have helped countless people get out of pain. Along the way, I have become convinced, through my own experience and through helping others, that strengthening the body in conjunction with releasing tension, and committing to regular strength and conditioning in your life, is the most effective way to live pain free, with the highest quality of life.

I therefore became an ACE-certified Personal Trainer in order to help others develop strength, speed, power and endurance to excel, not only in a chosen sport, but across the whole arena of their lives. I enjoy working with young athletes, instilling in them a love and appreciation for strength and conditioning as well as recovery, as well as adults intimidated by the typical gym culture, curious about starting or returning to exercise after injury or a long time away.

My knowledge and skill set as a healer and a coach allows me to develop programs that are safe, fun and effective no matter where your starting point is. My lifelong career as a competitive runner and my passion for CrossFit inform my choice of constantly varied, functional movements and cardio programs designed not only to build aerobic fitness but also to connect you with nature and breath.

Curious? Interested? Intimidated? Please reach out! I’m happy to answer questions and see if I would be a good fit to help you on your health and fitness journey.
